ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Former dancer, certified health coach, certified pilates instructor and wellness enthusiast, Marieva Malo created The Way as a space to help herself and others during a global lockdown. The Way is a movement to unpack and ground the mind and body all whilst tuning in deeper with yourself. The Way is the center of movement. When you move in “The Way” you are always present. Whoever remains present with fixity of purpose comes out on top in the end.

Her whole life, Marieva has devoted herself to her one true passion: the body. She found that through discipline and commitment is where true transformation comes. Practicing self-compassion and self-awareness on her day to day basis to work on becoming the better version of herself to then help others step into their better selves is her purpose.

Dancing since age four with a mother and grandmother both dancers, she finds that it’s only when she’s flowing through pilates moves that she becomes fully present focusing on breath and awareness like a dancer would.

With The Way, Marieva combines the mind, body and soul. She believes that when these three are utterly aligned and in harmony, we reach our highest potential. A healthy mind feeds a healthy body and vice versa. “Feeling good in our own skin is what helps us live a full, invigorating, present life.” 

“Rome was not built in a day” patience, persistence and consistence are vital qualities in the ultimate successful accomplishment. She invites you to embark on The Way To Health and stay consistent, your brain will clear and your will power will function. Ideally our muscles should obey our will not the other way around. And it’s then that you will find your body development approaching the ideal, accompanied by renewed mental vigor and spiritual enhancement.

ABOUT THE METHOD

After years of research, studies and self-testing, Marieva managed to transform her own body and learned to love every inch of it. Believing that the right program will teach you how to breathe, relax tension, protect your heart, make you feel more alert, slow the visible aging process, firm your body, support your digestive system, help you sleep, and improve your sex life.

With The Way, a program of active pilates combined with aerobics at times, you’ll learn just how capable your body can be. You’ll build the strength and alignment your body has always craved. You’ll learn to truly live in and with yourself. You are how you move, and sticking to The Way will teach you that you really can do anything you set your mind to. We are remembering what it feels like to move for the joy of it. 

By making a slight mental effort to work in correct form for over the next few weeks, you will learn erect posture and it will gradually become habitual and unconscious. You will look more fit and energetic even standing still. Standing correctly will help you to breathe correctly too. Many of the health problems we face are caused, directly or indirectly, by shallow, improper breathing. The Way will teach you to move continuously with ease and integrity it will enhance self-sufficiency and invigorate you. Deep, cleansing breaths are vital for efficient exercise and everyday life. THE WAY is not just a workout it’s a way of life.
